Puerto’s postcard: a small turquoise bay tucked between cliffs, with palapas, ceviche and beginner surf lessons. You go down about 170 steps, and back up the same ones.
Down the stairway from La Rinconada. Five minutes by taxi from downtown.
Get there before eleven if you want a palapa. The wave is small and breaks close to shore: it is the best beach in town to learn to surf.
