A small coastal village with a long, empty beach. Its wave is a shore break close to the sand, almost always shoulder-high and very consistent; it closes out fast, so it is good for practicing takeoffs and for beginners with someone watching, more than for long rides.
Highway 200 east for about 35 minutes, past El Tomatal and Plataforma; the village sits on the shore. One restaurant and a small shop.

The shore break hits hard: watch your back and neck in the wipeout, and do not go in alone. Friendlier on a longboard or softboard.
